Shrimp Scampi Recipe

½ c butter
4 cloves garlic
1 pound shrimp – deveined
1 c dry white wine
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp parsley

Melt butter in skillet over MEDIUM heat.  Stir in garlic and shrimp.  Cook 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly.  Pour in wine and pepper.  Bring to BOIL and cook for 2-3 minutes while continuing to stir.  (you’ll be able to smell the wine cook down – not so alcoholish.)  Sprinkle parsley over while boiling.  Mix with cooked pasta or rice.  Top with parmesan cheese if desired.
